Our 2021 annual meeting will be a virtual event on January 28. Our theme: Women’s Evolving Role on the Farm.
The iconic image of the “little woman” standing beside her weathered farmer/rancher husband with children clutching her dress is generations and a century behind the reality of today. Today’s agriculturist woman is the full partner in the farm business, as skilled at running a combine as she is her laptop…and just as apt to be a professional with an off-farm career: accountant, business manager, educator, financial advisor, politician, or communicator.
Join the Illinois chapter as it undertakes a virtual look at the changing role of women in today’s farming operations. Our guests are regional and national leaders who just happen to be involved in the business of agriculture. And all of them are women.
CE Credit Note: Attendance at the full program qualifies for 4 hours of ASFMRA CE.
