A special one-hour webinar on farmland values in Illinois has been set for 11 a.m. on September 4.
Described as an “Outlook for farmland prices and rents,” the webinar will feature results of an annual mid-year survey conducted jointly by the Illinois Society of Professional Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers and the University of Illinois. Topics include a farmland price outlook for the remainder of 2020, rental trends for 2021, and an outlook over the next five-years. Information will be useful as farmland markets enter the rent-setting season.
Making the presentation will be Luke Worrell, AFM, ALC, chair of the ISPFMRA Land Values Conference, Gary Schnitkey, Ph.D., University of Illinois, and Bruce Sherrick, Ph.D., also of the University of Illinois. The information is based on results of an August survey of ISPFMRA members and others allied to Illinois agriculture.
This webinar replaces the presentation typically made by ISPFMRA representatives at the annual Farm Progress Show.
While there is no fee to participate in the webinar, registration is required and can be arranged here.
