The Rock Island District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is looking for an experienced appraiser to support our wide variety of appraisal and appraisal review needs. The Rock Island District manages over 1,000 leases for land uses along the Mississippi and Illinois Rivers and at Red Rock, Saylorville and Coralville reservoirs. Appraisals are required at many of these actions. The District also constructs civil works projects in partnership with local sponsors. Acquisition appraisal for these actions require review appraisals. The District also acquires for Federal use lands along the Illinois and Mississippi Rivers. The successful applicant should be familiar with acquisition appraisals using both State standards and Federal standards.
