New Courses – COR 1900: Mandatory Core & Residential Property Disclosures

COR 1900 — Core CE: Mandatory Core (564003203) 4-Hour Course

Time: 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (Registration 8:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.)

DESCRIPTION: In the best interests of protecting the public that licensees serve, the CORE Education curriculum is designed to address License Law, Agency duties, Fair Housing Laws, Advertising issues, and Escrow obligations, along with changes and trends in the Industry. Subject areas are aimed at preventing violations to the Real Estate License Act. Through case studies, polling questions and discussions, students will recognize risk management procedures as well as best practices for successful client experiences.

RB 772 — Legal Issues: Residential Property Disclosures (#564003394) 2-Hour Course

Time: 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Instructor: Norm Willoughby — License # 563-001630

DESCRIPTION: This 2-hour elective will provide information to licensees of their responsibilities in informing their seller and landlord requirements of residential property disclosures. The student will have a working knowledge of the purpose of each disclosure, who is responsible for the disclosure, and the ramifications for failing to provide accurate and truthful information to buyers and tenants.
