The Illinois Society of Professional Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers will team up with the Illinois Realtors, the Illinois Chapter of the Realtors Land Institute, and the Central Illinois Board of Realtors to provide two three-hour education courses. DESCRIPTION: Elements of a Contract — This course explains, in general terms, the main components of the Illinois property tax system and the people or agencies responsible for administering those components. This document is not a definitive interpretation of propety tax laws (Local assessment officials are the resource for speicific informaton about propetry taxes.) Laura Harmon, attorney for the Illinois Farm Bureau, will discuss contracts associated with wind turbines and pipelines.
